Asia Coal Catalyst complements and maximizes the efficiency of any mechanical and/or electrical air pollution control device installed on boilers. Such devices include mechanical collectors, fabric filters, wet scrubbers, absorbers, afterburners, electrostatic precipitators and other similar devices. Optimal efficiency is accomplished primarily by AC Coal Catalyst’s ability to eliminate and best reduce the carbon particulate “load” on these devices.
Minimize Harmful Emissions From Boiler Stacks
Incomplete combustion is the primary source of air pollutants that are discharged inadvertently from boiler stacks, especially when burning the heavier, less readily combustible fuels. These incomplete combustion-type air pollutants are the same type of particles that accumulate on the firesides of boilers, in boiler breechings and at the base of stacks. They consist of unburned and partially burned carbon and sulphur particles mixed with unburnable fly-ash and other impurities.
Unburned carbon and sulphur pollutants include visible smoke particles, and particles invisible to the naked eye. The latter can only be detected by sensitive portable, or permanently installed boiler instruments.
Many tons of invisible particle pollutants from incomplete combustion can discharge each year from a single boiler operated with a naked eye stack. The combined discharge of both visible and invisible particles from smoking boilers, dusting tubes, etc. represents many more tons of pollutants discharged to the atmosphere each year from an average single boiler. CC-88 increases combustion and minimizes these pollutants.
